How do I get subtitles up on my dvd recorder?

I have a freeview dvd recorder ~(Sony RDRGXD360) but I don't know how to get the freeview subtitles up. Hope someone can help - DS

best to refer to the manual........

But on your remote it will have the " digitial " button, press that go onto the subtitle screen.

Best you have the feed going from the dvdr to tv the signial will apprear on the tv.

The problem doesn't lie within the DVD recorder, but within the Freeview box. I don't know the brand of your Freeview box, so I can't give you specific advice, but there may be a subtitle button on your Freeview remote, or perhaps there is such an option within your settings menu. It may be in the languages options. All this assumes that you have your Freeview box connected through your DVD recorder.
