I had PCOS/PCOD before conceiving. It took awhile to get my hormones under control, and with commitment to my diet and weight loss, I did. I ate a diet based on The Schwarzbein Principle. There are a few good books out there that really address the nutritional components of PCOS. I actually got pregnant on accident, while on the Pill, two years after being told I had PCOS.

I have a friend that got pregnant while dealing with PCOS and she needed a bit of help to do so. I know of a few others that got pregnant in spite of the PCOS without much help.
