Weightlifting for a 13 year old?
is this alot for me . im 13

i squat 300
i bench 215
and
power clean 205
and i plan on attempting to qualify for the junior olympics in a few months
but i was wondering if that was alot?

Be careful man, I am from the school of light lifting at that age, but I know people that did that at that age and are fine. Consult your doctor. It is great to have goals and direction especially at that age, but always listen to your coach and your body. Not qualifying for the junior olympics is not as bad as hurting yourself seriously. Good luck though.

Yes. be careful and go slow. If you over exert yourself there could be some serious consequences. Don't over do it.
