My grandmother still has an aloe vera plant in her living room in the same spot it has been my whole life. When my cuzins and I got a scrape or cut, sunburn, an insect bite, a rash, it was Grandma's cure all. I honestly don't remember if we healed any faster, I know I felt better! I have tryed to keep one in my home, I was not blessed however to inherit her green thumb.

If you do it quickly, it will stop a burn from blistering. It will also heal a blister and ease a sunburn. Take a leaf and split it open and rub it on the area that hurts. It works great. No matter where I live, I always keep an aloe plant.

If you get a burn, break off a piece of the plant and apply it directly to the burn immediately.
