Well I got some free RAM, It's free from a friend, why turn it down? Well my PC runs 3200 but we have a PC 2700 333MHZ, Well every time we boot it loops and reboots. Thing is when we enter the bios it recognizes the ram perfectly and says in total we have 1024mb....Anyone know if it CAN be fixed? Or should I just sell it?

It's likely that the ram is incompatible with your current ram(very small chance) or it is faulty. Remove the free ram and download memtestx86.

Memtest x86 free

Extract and burn the ISO to a cd. Turn off the pc. Re-install the ram and boot from your memtest cd. Have it run for about 2 hours. If at any point it freezes for 2 or more minutes or restarts, turn off the pc remove the ram and throw it in the dust bin. If you see any errors displayed during the test your best bet is to throw the ram away as one of the chips are faulty due to Electrostatic discharge.
