This is a disease if you ask me, they need a variety of women, to them women are eye candy, after they get to know that the grass was not as green come crying back like the loose-rs they are! Idiots...

No, it's actual a real addiction.
I've heard theories before that sexual addiction can be drug-based as well as simply psychological. On orgasm, the brain releases a chemical (the one that makes you feel so happy and relaxed); it's been said that sex addicts in fact become addicted to this chemical. Interesting, eh?
Anyhow, both men and women can be sexual addicts. I'm sure a lot of people simply say they have an addiction so they can get away with naughty behavior or have an excuse, but the ones who do don't invalidate those with a real problem.

Yes sexual addiction is like any other addiction . I happen to live in a city that has one of the biggest rehab health facilities in North America ( used to be called a sanitarium!) They have a program for sexual addiction. I think chronically visiting porn sites and making sex a huge preoccupation, exhibitionism, voyeurism and making it a huge part of one's existence would qualify one as having a sexual addiction. Needing to sleep with many woman may have a sex addiction as an underlying factor as well as an ego problem

It's real. Some people go way overboard and become stunningly self-destructive in their liaisons. It's possible to be psychologically addicted to damn near anything, from Krispy Kreme donuts to bootknocking.
It is not a valid reason to cheat, however.
The price of admission for being in my life is not being a drunk, for instance. I've had drunks in my life, it sucked, no more. Drink all you want, but I'm revoking your friend card.

sexual addiction is a real thing, the person becomes addicted to the endorphines ( natural heroin) that is produced in the brain upon orgasm, guilt and shame add adrenaline to the picture and increase the addiction. Many people in the exgay ministries treat homosexuality as a sexual addiction quoting these factors.

It's real. The "drug" they are addicted to is probably a brain chemical of some sorts.
Women can be sex addicts as much as men.
People of all orientations can become the victims of sexual addiction.

There are those who are truly addicted to sex. In their case, it is considered a disease as other addictions have been diagnosed to be.
