its a 2 story garrison colonial. the second story is 2 foot wider than the 1st. when i opened up the floor right above the overhang, the insulation was wet, as well as the plywood beneath it. on the outside the overhang has vinyl soffit as well as tyvek. please help, thanks

Your builder didn't do a good job. Hire an honest carpenter to fix it right - right away!

need more info. what type facia? drip edge? plumbing jn floors? look in attic for water stains on roof decking ot rusted roofing nails. could be roof leak, bad wax ring on commode. if metal facia, is drip edge covering facia? more info.

your house wasn't properly insulated and polyed up to code, I suggest you to call a contractor to do the work to code.
