Well, I have heard the news, who hasnt (?).. and had a relative that was working there..but he didnt make it, now i'm wondering how many planes were really hijacked that day. The news here says four, but i heard someone say a while back that in another country the news had said it was really eight planes.
I guess i was caught thinking about all of this, so i remembered this question i've had for quite a while..
Well, Thanks in advance, & God Bless...

i see you have a very high percentage of best answers. I don't know what to think. I've heard so much about 9/11 my sons birthday by the way. I have heard it was a inside job. I know it was negligent security. I don't know how many planes where hijacked except the ones they reported. I always wondered if the plane in Pennsylvania was shot down by the United States Air force. I have a real bad feeling that we're due for another hit. I don't know when, how. or where. But i can feel it.

There were other planes that were meant to be hijacked, but the hijackers were not able to complete their plans for whatever reasons. There were only 4 planes involved in what is known as the Sept. 11th tragedy: The 2 that were flown into the twin towers, 1 into the Pentagon, and 1 that was crashed into the field in Pennsylvania, which was likely en route for the White House.

There was four planes that made it off the ground leading to them being hijacked. 2 hit the World Trade Center. 1 hit the Pentagon and another was going for the Presidents Home
but, the passengers while trying to take control were all killed when it was flown into the ground not far from it's destination.
There is still alot more to this story than the government wants made public though.

I never heard of the eight. Early on 9/11 there was a report that 5 planes were missing, but then one of them tuned up safe. They had just lost track of it for a little while.

I'm pretty sure that if there had been eight planes involved the U.S. media would have found out about it long before now. It really is true that you shouldn't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you read.

There were more but they were not needed. I have read stories saying there were 8. The pentagon strike was not a civilian craft.

Don't belive me? One of the supposed planes on that aweful day that crashed was spotted in use 6 months later. So, were they really civilian planes or drones? Make your own mind up.
