was gonna say he was a dumb philosopher, i jumped the gun like you. i was gonna say the nuclear holocaust wouldnt effect guns. but after a nuclear war, people would probably start killing their own with guns and then all the guns and bullets would be used up. but if that scenario was to take place, it seems to me that ww3 would never end. if a nuclear war erupts, most electronic devices would not work anymore. because of the electro magnetic pulse. i think i should write a movie bout this and screen it worldwide so people can witness the horror of war and nuclear power. good question, got a thumbs up from my brain.

just read the answers, if einstien said this i love him even more. imagine if we were all as smart as einstien in our own ways how earth would change. earth, imagine how our solar system would have changed by now. imagine ignorant people didnt watch tv all day and vote for american idiot i mean idol.

It wasn't some ancient philosopher that said that. It was Albert Einstein. He said that he didn't know how World War III would be fought but he knew how World War IV would be fought, with sticks and stones

Lets say we obtain world peace instead the human civilisation thrives and we spend the money helping the poor and starving and fighting disease.

Great....Or is it now the population is growing out of control the resources are depleting and pollution is getting worse. Soon the planet will become uninhabitable with no food people will flock to few remaining places that can support life but they are already over populated.....

What do you think will happen then?

WAR

You can't prevent war I am afraid you can psotpone it but it will only make it a bigger war later.

So smile enjoy your life and seize the day as it may be your last.

sure - assuming that by ability of WW3 you're wondering what Einstein replaced into wondering; it truly is, an finished-on nuclear replace between 2 or more beneficial of the major nuclear powers (US, Russia, China and others). There are more beneficial than adequate nuclear guns in existance at present to absolutely damage all (by ability of which I recommend A-L-L) existence in the international. So, in different words, Einstein may were slightly positive at the same time as he stated that there is everyone left to wrestle a WW4 after WW3...

We are in WW4 now. Many consider WW3 the cold war with the USSR. WW4 was started by Islamic terrorists in the mid 70's when they began to hijack planes.
