Most definitly, sometimes thrift stores are the best places to find unique treasures WITHOUT paying unneccessary money and taxes for them. We always hit them up in the summer on weekeds. I have a huge bug biting me to start thrifting and flea marketing again.... We got a fold out couch in perfect condition for $25 and an oak bookshelf for $10 last summer.

I do, but the thrift stores I go to are still so expensive. Like my favorite, Buffalo Exchange, still charges like $35 for a single shirt (if it's nice of course). I'm better off just going to Macy's and buying the same shirt just brand new.

Oh yes. I have lots of great outfits that I got from Goodwill.
A friend of mine says that lots of times rich people buy clothes, wear them a few times, then give them to Goodwill--and we reap the savings!
