i just got 2 three week old savanah monitors and i want to know how many times a day do they eat and any extra precautions about them - thanks

Keep your new Monitor about 80*F and feed it small mice (pinkies or fuzzies depending on the size of your monitor) and crickets when it appears to be hungry, daily or every other day but not every third day and you should do well.
Monitors like hiding places and the Savanna is a dry land variety but still likes a water bowl they can soak in occasionally. Keep in mind that they can bite and have a very septic mouth.. WASH THE BITE WELL ! and use an anti-biotic cream.
