I wanted firsthand estimates regarding the numbers. I checked it out on C-Span and it didn't look very massive.

jhl: On C-Span it looked like 1000 or less. But with the left, each one actually represents 5 or even 10 people. They often do the same thing with screen names.

This Just In From AP: Police no longer give official estimates but said privately that perhaps 10,000 to 20,000 anti-war demonstrators marched, with a smaller but still sizable number of counterprotesters also out in force. An hour into the three-hour Pentagon rally, with the temperature near freezing, protesters had peeled away to a point where fewer than 1,000 were left.

Protest? What the heck are you going to protest? all the more suitable harm has already been achieved & despite if each and every American in the rustic protested in does not replace that fact. I sorry to assert yet your protest could have happend 3 years in the past whilst it ought to have made a real distinction yet now it is in basic terms a gaggle of warm air. perhaps if Hilary has led a protest in Congress 3 years in the past to offer up the conflict fairly than vote casting for it the completed mess might in no way have handed off?

The one I saw in Austin, Texas had about 15 "hanoi" Jane looking types there. The youngest was like 50. The leftist, America bashing liberals would have you believe they are the majority when in fact MOST Americans are patriotic, religious, God fearing, tax paying citizens.

No!! If it was an anti-illegal protest I would be there. Illegals are more of a threat to America then President's Bush WAR. AT least the war isn't bring home TB etc.

I thought they were just drunk Leprechauns drinking green beer. If I would have known about it I still couldn't because the snow is still melting and it is a sight to behold. Before you know it all of our snow will be gone. If I were to miss that for a meaningless protest I would go postal.

No. I wouldn't give them the time of day but when you subtract those who do it for fun, those who get paid to do it, you really don't have a lot left. Did you see those who were protesting against the protest, they had a pretty large group!

It's a waste of time let them waste their time. If it had been a real protest like against illegal immigration I would go but I definitely would not go help support those cowards out there today.

The ones with no involvement in the war are the loudest complainers...The Military, in the midst of the chaos are happy to be doing their job.....Sorry to disappoint you, but I guess the war is more positive than your Liberals negative
