a geode those rocks with crystals in it is it possible to find them in my backyard?

If you live in certain parts of Missouri or Tenn you can find white geodes laying about. The pretty purple ones come from Brazil.

It is possible to find geodes in your backyard depending on where you live. However at most rock shops they sell golf ball sized ones for around $1 or $2.
