Advantage:

Yeah, I also think the number of foreigners be restricted in the Premiership - not only in England but also in other countries as well. When the league of a country is strong that gives an indication that the country is playing good football. And that is not a true indication since most of the playing there don't are not the citizens of the country. I think as far as restricting the number of foreigners in the teams, the world governing body FIFA must step in with some guidelines as to how this can be done for the betterment of world football.

I think that restricting the number of foreigners..will put a damp on the joy of the game. Yes home grown players are important especially for the national team but I think that it also helps them that they know any foreigner can come and take their spot they will try extra hard. some of the best players in the world are foreigners and if you want to be the best league in the world you have to attract the best players simple as. it is awful for out sport. The england players do not get to show their skills when faced with a club full of foreigners (arsenal international). Foreign players struggle to cope with the way we play football. There should be a maximum of 5 foreign players on the pitch in my opinion. English players are forced to play abroad and then are usually forgotten when it comes to internationals.
