Mostly Buddhists believe in Karma, while Christians believe in God. I, myself, am a Christian, so I believe it's God.
When people believe it's God, they think that things happen for a reason, and it's the part of a great plan.
When people believe it's Karma, they believe that their sins led them to their sufferings, or even their death.

Well the logic of the fact that what goes around comes around...means that karma it is a concept but only a part of the god concept.

I don't know.
but I prefer to think it's the interweaving of all that has happened which led to each subsequent event rather than either of those.

It's BOTH.
Karma is based on an individual's actions and reactions.
God simply IS.
The two can easily coexist.
Why not?

God is in control. (Ever heard that song by Twila Paris? "God is in control..." That's about all I can remember from it. It's a good song.)
