What is the procedure, does it hurt afterwards, do you have metal and screws permanently in your arm, what's the recovery procedure.

Its a compact fracture in the middle of the 2 bones the doctor said it requires surgery and then I kind of ignored everything he said about the procedure cause i don't want it.

It all depends on the type of fracture and location. If the fracture is on the distal ( near the wrist) or mid shaft portion of the bone you may just need a well molded short arm cast. If the bones are not lining up properly, you could need and open reduction internal fixation where they used a plate and screws to stabalize the bones. If the fracture is closer to your elbow, you may still need surgery or you could need a long arm cast.

The two bones in your forearm are the ulna and radius. And it would be really hard to tell what the procedure would be for healing without knowing where they were broke and if they are clean fractures or spiral or if the bone is shattered which would require pins etc. If you can provide more info I could tell you more.
