I think the best solution for you is Acronis True Image. It can backup your entire PC or separated files on any media. It has a scheduler that will backup your data as often as you want. Depends on what you mean by continuiously, if you mean in real time, you need to get a machine that is capable of RAID.
Raid actually allows multiple drives to "mirror" each other, What gets written to one gets written to the other at the same time . This is done by the hardware in your computer.
Other options.
You can add a second drive and simply backup to it on a regular basis.
You can get a DVD burner and make regular backups.
You can add a Network Drive and backup to it - then just do "on the hour" updates to it so it stays fairly current.
You can get a one button backup USB drive and hit the button as often as you like.
