I have got a mp3 from christmas and I haven't got a clue how to download free music off the net.
Could someone please advise me on how to go about it, and what are the main sites? Ta!!

Downloading free music is illegal. Try a subscription service like Napster.com.
For educational purposes, if one were to download free music, one would go to www.limewire.com and download the free version of Limewire, and download music using that program (one should not download anything other than music, as there can be viruses).

try downloading bearshare. then create an account, search for your mp3, download it and transfer it to your mp3 player. couldnt be easier
