"Astronomically, it starts with the winter solstice (around December 21 in the Northern Hemisphere and June 21 in the Southern Hemisphere), and ends with the spring equinox (around March 21 in the Northern Hemisphere and September 21 in the Southern Hemisphere). In meteorology, it is by convention counted instead as the whole months of June, July and August in the Southern Hemisphere and December, January and February in the Northern Hemisphere."

It's still winter until march 21st (according to the calender) but it feels like summer here in california, it's 93 degrees right now, the summer is going to be SO hot i'm actually thinking of moving to antartica

Technically, it's still winter until March 21st. It still feels like winter here in KY right now as it's only 43 F right now. Brrrrrr!!

Technically you are still in winter, until this wednesday. Although it probably feels like spring has been there for a while. Here in tx, it's 82. :)

now we are in winter wednesday it will be spring but it feels like summer in Arizona it is 96 ugh this summers gonna suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
