I agree. I'm one that doesn't like to be physically near new people and the internet gives me the space I need to be myself. Plus, no one can judge me based upon my looks...except with this account. I put my pic as my avatar.

Sure, the reason being you can say things online you would not be likely to say face to face.
So, in answer to your question, yes, I think its easier to make friends.

The risk and embarrassment involved with rejection is less so it is easier to meet people on-line.
Still, there is little risk involved in meeting 'on-line only' friends who live far away--and if someone doesn't ever have to take a risk for you, how do you know they are really a true friend???

yeah i think it is, because u don't have as much pressure to say the right thing, i take as long as i want to respond to someone on the internet, so i can think things out and not look too much like an idiot, but that's not the point, also i don't know the people so i am more outgoing and stuff
