I'm sorry but I have to say this is a stupid question... let me ask you this... are you willing to go to the guy you stole from, tell him what you wrongfully took and then explain to him that you sold his belongings without his permission (which is against the law) then ask him to pay half the money because what you sold the 3rd party was fake and you claimed it to be real? your bad deed blew up in your face... not only are you the one who stole but also the one who told the buyer the Armani and versace were real. So you are fully responsible because the one you stole from didn't sell the product you did which means you should actually be in jail facing time for theiving and false advirtising.

No. You sold it. You are responsible to the person who bought it.
If you hadn't stolen it, then you could turn around and sue the person you bought it from. But you stole the property.
So, in addition to losing out on the money, you face criminal charges for the theft.

Are you completely crazy?!?!?! Now, you probably should owe money to the guy you stole it from and the guy you gave it to.
Also, I bet that there's a few cops looking at this post :)

What is wrong with you?! You are the one who stole, AND sold it so you are the one responsible. That's like saying "Hey, I broke your tv, but its yours so you have to fix it"
See how crazy that sounds?!

The guy you stole it from is the victim, as is the guy you sold it to. You are solely liable for paying BOTH OF THEM.
