Agree or Disagree?

Seven years into a new century, and it's still a rehash of what was said and sung in the last century.

No spark. No ingenuity. No rivalry. Everything we see and touch is old, and a cheap copy of the original.

Tunes get played over and over again, but they are the things we've heard twenty, thirty, or forty years ago.

Worse yet, we get immitation tunes, with slight variations from the original (so as to avoid paying royalties?).

Anyone for creating a new song or catchy expression?

What caused this? Business? Not wanting to chance anything new and different? Going with proven winners? When does the public say stop, I'm full, I had enough?

I totally agree. nothing is orginal anymore. I saw a clip of that band Hinder's video, and thought "oh god, we've gotten another Steve Tyler". Oasis failed at being a neo-Beatles, but still tried. Coldplay has gotten a mind to be the next U2.I could go on and on with the new trying to be the old.I'm so ready for something new, and I mean new.
