Run these test on him/her
1) If he has a light see if he stays in the corner if the light is on or off , if he stays in the corner when the light is on its because the light is to bright or its reflecting off of your ornaments which is still bright if so you need a different type of light bulb one not too bright.

2) Is he eating, if he is eating don't worry so much.

3) Think Back, when you got him was he with other fish ? if so he may miss the company and needs a friend.

4) Dose he every swim around the tank when he thinks no one is there , or is he in a traffic zone ( were people walk past alot) that may scare him or cause stress also.

Your goldfish are too cramped. a a million.5 gallon tank is slightly acceptable for a betta now to not practice 2 goldfish. each goldfish needs a minimum of 10-15 gallons of turning out to be area in order to thrive and be healthful. i'd recommend returning your a million.5 gallon tank if plausible, and getting a 20 or 29 gallon tank ASAP. added products you'll favor are a filter out, water conditioner, and a water testing kit may be truly sensible besides to maintain your water high quality. Your fish at the prompt are not acclimating, they're cramped and probably poisoning themselves with their waste and ammonia.

If you have a really bright light on top of the bowl or tank,
maybe you should dim it. If you have a lot of decorations
in the tank, maybe you should take some out.

Or worse....
I'm not saying it'll happen to you but, my sister's fish stayed in
one corner for like 2 weeks, then died. T-T Not pretty.

I read a lot of these answers, although I don't know exactly why the fish is isolating it does however mean that the fish is stressed. It may be ill. Check your water perameters immediately. I'd change the water in a big way, 50-75%. Medicated food may help.

They have two products that work amazing. Metro-meds and Medi-gold. Feed those you don't have to kill your filter with meds.
