Is this why its so hard for him to admit it?
Why can't he and corporate buddies face the fact that the Iraqis reject American Imperialism?

Just calm down and consider that the more they do the better the chances the Democrats have of a landslide like 1964 in the election next year.

Defining failure in Iraq as having to leave Iraq before the Iraqi government is able to function efficiently and protect the country would prove that Bush did not have all the cooperation and support he needed from the American public and the Iraqis. IT WOULD NOT PROVE THAT HIS IDEA IS WRONG. Now let's take this one step further. If we do fail in Iraq and after we leave, thousands upon thousands of innocent Iraqis are murdered and the whole nation is in chaos, will that prove that the left wing fanatics were wrong?

Probably because there is no failure in Iraq. And the fact that Iraq was liberated from Saddam's regime only reinforces that. The fact that he had all the support in 2003 and a majority in 2005, and now its less because it is election time coming up. If Congress wanted to the Troops would be withdrawn. With the elections around the corner there are to many that aren't sure what side of the fence would serve their needs best so they flip flop...sound familiar?

his failures in Iraq include:

not sending enough troops (one big bad thing about Rumsfeld)

not building up Iraq's anti-terrorist police force earlier

we allowed the UN to control inspections in Iraq, when they were clearly incapable... http://www.iraqwatch.org/wmd/iraqibomb.html

and not taking out Iran's radical government. We attacked Iraq because it had WMD, but Iraq was also in middle of a 'Cold-War-like' WMD arms race with Iran... Now, Iran's competition and only sense of intimidation is gone.. and it can do as it pleases.. and expand as it pleases.

Aziz, the highest-ranking Iraqi Christian in Saddam's regime-
"Every time I brought up the issue with Saddam, he said, 'Don't worry about the Iranians. If they ever get WMD, the Americans and Israelis will destroy them,'" the Post quotes Aziz as saying.

But after we eliminated Iraq's threat, the only thing stopping Iran was Israel and America... and we havent even tried to stop them.

Of course he does. Because if he has to admit that he was wrong about invading Iraq then that will mean the Democrats/Libs win and he would rather die than let that happen.

First there has to be a failure but the only failure I see is the one where you and your fellow liberals are lying and putting all of that BS on these boards!
