How would you prefer to die?

Question

OK, its an odd question but I have never had the courage to ask anyone this becase its such a hard question to ask, but its simple, how would you like to die? and how old would you like to be when it happens.
Honestly, I would like to die OLD and peacefully, no pain, no nothing, just FADE away!

I would like to die peacefully in my sleep.Any age after 70.

Not too young but not actually old-say mid to late 60's.

I'd like to die in good health and in a fight,preferably taking some evil git with me-I have a list of suitable candidates.I want to die quickly and fairly painlessly.


I'm only 25 though so will have time to plan it more lol.

I have reached an age that would seem ancient to most of those who answer questions on this web site.
I am not ready to die yet but when the inevitable happens, I would like it to be in my sleep. A shock for those left but I am being selfish!

I would like to die happy .no pain and quickly. So I would like to die shortly after I had just watched the Newcastle united captain lift a trophy . I don't plan on dieing for sometime yet

I'd like to die in my sleep. I'm over 50 now, so GOOD NEWS!...I can't die young! Yipee!!!!!

Dying is easy, it's living that scares me to death. No, seriously, after reading "Crossing the Creek" by Michael Holmes, who has been a hospice volunteer for many years, the final dying process doesn't have to be painful. He says that when a person is near death, the line between physical reality and spiritual reality starts to blend.

I know this, because I know that my Redemeer (Jesus Christ) lives, I too will continue to live after my physical death.

Personally, I agree with you, it is a really is a hard question to answer, but I would rather die doing something crazy. Just as long as whatever I'm doing at the time isn't embarassing to me. And I would also like to live to be old enough to do something amazing before it happens.

I want something cool to happen to me, i wanna be eaten by an angry mob of turtles or something cool. That way, when people hear how i died it takes some of the grief away because you kinda have to laugh at the way i went. "How'd she die?" "Well, she was bungee jumping and a hawk hit her in the face." That'll be precious. I want to die old...anytime after like...70 is good by me.

I think I would like to die when I have finished school and retired from my career. After I have raised whatever children I might have had, and after I have seen their children grow into fine adults, ready to start a family of their own. I think I would like to die on my birthday in my sleep, after spending the day celebrating with my growing family. Yes, I would like to die with a satisfied mind, knowing that I did whatever I could while I could with my loving family.

I want to live as long as I can with all my faculties, i hope I get to 100, and when my time comes, I'd like to go peacefully in my sleep without knowing.

I agree with Sandman. Though with the medical advancements in genetics and stem cell research and organ cloning, the question may be a moot one in our life times.
