so i converted my jeep to a 350 and now i need a high output alternator, i have 2 12inch subs a lincoln mark 8 electric fan and some offroad lights. will this alternator suit my needs. its a 200 amp alternator

It'll work. Even if you have Nuclear explosion class subs that can draw more than 200 amps, they'll only draw that much some of the time, and the battery can take up the slack.

200 sounds a little high, even for that amount of gear. Amps equals watts divided by voltage. One 100 watt tungsten lamp will draw about 8.4 amps, the fan may be rated by current or watts, the amplifier will draw at least three times the power (watts) that it it puts out at full blast. Then add maybe 30 for battery charging and running the engine and standard lights. Get your calculator out.
