Yes, you should get a pap smear done especially if you are having sex. If you are not get one anyway to make sure there is nothing wrong with you in that area.

As soon as you become sexually active it is important to get one. All women should. The pap smear can detect cervical cancer before it becomes a major problem too. So yes, go get one!

If you not a virgin for quiet some time then i suggest to run to doc. Its not good at all that you never had PAP done. Also make sure if you are a virgin by any chance then get HPV vaccine's to protect yourself from cervical cancer. This are available for females who haven't been exposed to HPV yet. Talk to your gyno about it if you qualify take it. I regret that i am 23 now and its way too late for me to take it now. i been sexual active for a lil over then 8 years now and i definitely dont qualify. Take advantage of this medicine. it will save you in a long run. And just advice from a female to another....it would be good if you take some interest in personal development and knowledge on this topic through medical internet sites. They are very informative. Use yahoo or google for key words that interest you and it will link you to thousands and thousands sources.

Yes, you should, especially if sexually active. They will test it for HPV, which can cause cervical cancer. They can also advise you on how to keep yourself safe. I skipped a PAP last year and had a cancer scare this year, I'm going in like clockwork from now on!

you should get a pap smear once every year after you turn 21 or become sexually active, which ever comes first.

I don't think anyone ever had cervical cancer before they were 21. You probably don't need one yet.
