I think that if they did ...and the results made public... there'd be quite a few more G.I.s around today and the US deficit would be a tad smaller too.

i think of this could be a valid question. i comprehend vehicle coverage companies do no longer opt to take human beings over 70. issues are distinctive at distinctive a while. you need to be a definite age for the activity for a reason so we ought to continuously additionally question after a definite age how a guy or woman is keeping up. McCain's mom is alive so he keeps asserting he's like her yet that's no longer evidence of something. He has on no account controlled his temper yet he hasn't been below the scrutiny of the cameras that plenty yet.

No because that would also be required of everyone that walks thru the front doors of the White House..He isn't the only person running the USA...He relies heavily on people telling him what to do. HE is just a puppet that his staff is running. You test one..You test them all. I am sure there is tons and tons of invetigations during the running time so heavy mug slinging can go on.

Yes, but that doesn't mean it will happen. They are elected officials, so the people are supposed to have the ultimate say (not that they do). The people and the electoral college need to show some intelligence in making decisons too. Especially when a president comes up for a second term.

Tests developed & administered by whom? Who would you trust to decide on the IQ & sanity of candidates? I can't think of anyone. Remember such test & examinations would all be done by people with their own agenda. There is no perfect system. If you are a US citizen, at least 18 years old & not a convicted felon, you are entitled to your own opinions on these iddues & to vote accordingly.

It should be a requirement that the IQ of a candidate reach 3 figures. That would count Dubya out.

Actually that might just create more problems than it solved. The poor old US of A might be forced into looking for the next President over here in England. Mind you looking at our elected leaders maybe not. OK OK I was only joking I just love America.

I do not think that it is a requirement that the US President should be intelligent or compis mentis. In fact quite the reverse might be the case. Why would any sane person want to do that job?

That would leave Hilliar, I mean Hilliary, Obama, Edwards, Joe Biden and all of the others in a big hole. They would all fail.

That would be acceptable to me. If they make it through the speech cycle and the news media cycle without exhibiting abnormalities, testing would work.

I also think all presidents MUST have served in the US military.
