I bet you didn't, but if you have the "CASH" in real bills in your hand, CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
If you have an E-mail, or A letter saying you won something like a lottery that you didn't buy a ticket for, or If it is just because they like you.
Do not respond
Do not send information
Do not phone the enclosed number
Do not cash their check and send them money for handling
Because it is a scam.
If they sent you a check, deposit it, do not spend any of the money for 6 months to make sure it is cleared, do not send any money, because it is not necessary.

Hi,
Need more details. How did you know you won 200,000USD or was it 2,000,000USD?
There have been letters going around that claim you have won 2 million and you are requested to send $20. All you get for your $20 is a list of contests you can enter that total 2million.
Remember, if it's too good to be true, it is and it's a scam.
Kindest Personal Regards,
Walt Brown

Give more details. Who says you won $200,000? Is it a magazine promotion? Then the very small print said, "If you win our lottery, then a check like this could be for you." That is a mighty big "IF"

Highly unlikely. Most of these "you have won" notices are to get you to subscribe to magazines or provide personal information so your identity can be stolen. If it looks to good to be true then it is not true.
