Frankly, iTunes drives me nuts. Any suggestions on a DIFFERENT program to use? Preferrably something that greatly simplifies uploading songs to the iPod. Thanks!

Without the iTunes you can't add anything to your iPod. The iTunes is the ONLY program that apple will allow the iPods to use. So you're just going to have to learn to like it.

iTunes and iPod are made for eachother. there isnt going to be anything other then iTunes that iPod will work with. if you dont like it, get a zune or some other mp3 player

iTunes just may be the only thing you can use. If you use windows media player you can add the media to the device but you won't be able to play it in your iTunes.
