In between rounds when they are bleeding, what do they put on the cuts?

All three answers are right. They use a styptic powder that coagulates the blood, then they fill the cut with petroleum jelly to keep it sealed up.

Since petroleum jelly won't wash off the skin from sweating, this is why you see them wiping the faces of the fighters first. They are rubbing petroleum jelly into their skin to help keep sweat from beading up and running into the eyes.

it's a coagulant.vets use it if they trim your dog's nails too short.
