It means that He is not appreciating you.And he thinks He will have you no matter what, and youll always be there.Kinda like when we take life for granted. We think Were going to live no matter what, and we dont appreciate that fact that were alive.

It means that the person who is giving you their opinion is into very vague and poor advice. This is a standard response for someone unwilling to delve further into your problem. Similar to those who say you are being abused. Define abused? Define being taken for granted. But, since I'm also here for the points (I know, ain't it sad) I say it means in non-stereotypical fashion, that this person looks at you as a victim, a rug to be stepped on, a stepping stone to be used to get to where they desire to be. Sad thing is this is a poor character trait everyone shows at one time or another. Not that I condone this behavior, but, I would be a hypocrite if I boasted I didn't do this. I have once or twice, even to those I said I loved. Love is a learned action. It's not a magical presence as soon as one says "I do". We fail, learn, fail, learn, and at some point we acquire wisdom. God I sure will be glad when it gets my turn to get some!

It means your friends, family, whoever is telling you this, thinks your guys is not appreciative of the things you do for him. It could also mean that if you have been in a relationship for a long time, maybe he is getting used to having you there and there is no "spice" in the relationship. Depends on the circumstance. Some are drastic, like don't work, steal, do drugs. But I think most women say this when they think a friend is not being treated as well as she should be. Good luck, hope this is not the case for you! I think all people should be appreciated by their significant other!.. Happy St. Patricks!

To take for granted, basically means that he doesn't appreciate who you are, what you stand for and what you believe in. In other words, using you to advance some aspect of his life, make himself look good or avoid dealing with issues within himself.

Strong people should avoid any association with people who take them for granted. The situation leads to questioning personal values that you never questioned before, depression and lack of life enjoyment.

Good luck!

It means that he is comfortable with you. He can be himself and not worry about impressing you. I would ask myself why this person would say such a thing? Jealousy? Is this person trying to have you confront him and ask him this very question? You need to ask yourself how you feel about the relationship. You can't be taken for granted without your permission. Give this some thought and you will know the answer.

It means that hes taking all you give him and he gives you nothing back in return. He doesnt appreciate a thing that you do for him. And if you were ever to leave him then he would realize why and of course by then it might be too late.

It means several things.... but to make it short... It means he no longer has to try to make you feel special, because in his mind he has you... Many men fall into this whether they realize it or not.

They go about thier business...day in and day out with little regard for your feelings or your interests....

That also corresponds to that time when the romance stops.

It actually means well in my opinion that the person you are with dosent pay much attention to you and are certain that they have you on a leash and dont worry on loosing you, because you are too open with them. And regardless how they treat you , you always is the one that opoligizes .

It means that he has become so comfortable with you being around that he doesn't remember how important you are to him. It's sort of like breathing... you never think about it because you are always doing it.

It means he's taking advantage of you, or that he doesn't appreciate what you do for him. If that's the case, stop doing whatever you are doing so that he realizes that he's lucky to have you!
