Is there a website that can show me the asking price of other homes that were sold in the area and what they actually sold for in the end?

You're going to have to ask a friendly real estate agent to provide you with that information especially when it comes to asking price vs. sold price.

You can get the "sold" price from any state or county property tax office or one of those Internet sites like zipingo.com.

don't know about asking price, but you can go to the county courthouse where the deeds are recorded and ask what a house sold for. Some county's have this information available on the Internet if they have a web site at all. If you have an address for a house, they will tell you the selling price at the courthouse where the deed is recorded.

Counties do no longer have the appraised fee. it truly is assessed fee and that advise no longer something to everybody except the Tax assessor. The marketplace is transferring each of the time some section up, some down and some strong. The marketplace and comparables will set the fee of a house. in person-friendly words a state licensed or qualified appraiser can allow you to be conscious of what the fee is, no longer the assessor or zillow or a RE agent. The county website assessed fee should be extreme or low and oftentimes with assistance from lots, they do what's termed mass value determinations. the placement with assessed fee & zillow is it has no way of understanding powerful/situation age of the residences.

You'll have to find out if your state is a "non-disclosure" state (mine is). In that case a cooperative RE Agent is your best source for Comps.
