So i'm currently a freshman and there is this I have known since fifth grade. We have been in constant competition and I personally find her to be very fake. Our main issues involve theatre. We are both very talented actresses. However, I was cast a lead in our first play of the year and she was cast as a supporting role. She posted a question on here saying she was cast as a lead and I found that to be very rude. Also, she was cast as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and was rude to many of the cast members. She went around telling people that everyone but her and the actor who played Romeo didn't care about the show. Her exact words on a particularly rough night for the cast "Are you purposely trying to screw up this show? Because those of us who have worked the hardest don't need this" She left some people in tears. Anyways, I really don't enjoy working with her but I don't want to cause problems by confronting her but I feel this needs to be resolved somehow. Any advice? Thanks!!!

I have the same problem. I was in a play with a girl who that that she was all that and better than me....and since she was 2 years older than me she treated me like i was 3. I hated it and couldn't stand that her mom was the prop manager. So she told me what to do. AT first I try ed to ignore her and was nice to her. But the woman would always catch me saying or doing something and would yell at me. Finally one day she was telling what NOT to do with the props and i kind of went off.......try this......
"You have been rude to me and terrible to other people ever since this started. I will admit that you are talented, but that gives you no right to push people around. Last time I checked you were not the director, you were the performer, and it's the directors job to tell the performers what to do. When you are the director of a play, come find me and tell me what to do. But right now you have no right what so ever to say ANYTHING mean, rude or negative to anyone of these performers. WE are working just as hard as you. And you are not anything but a performer......the cast is a team and if you can't be a team player the you have no purpose in acting. so why not you shut up and leave the rest of us alone."
if this doesn't work every time she talks to you say "your mom" and walk away.

first off i would try to ignore her.if you know you're good then dont let her tell you other wise. but im sure you've already tried that so another thing would probably get the people that she hurt together and then with all of you tell her how you guys feel. Hope i have helped Good Luck! :)

Ignore her, do well and live well. That's the best thing you can do for yourself. By worrying about what she's doing and focusing on what to do about her you are expending a lot of energy on somebody who isn't worthy of that time and energy.

i don't know why you would be posting stuff like this on here. I mean you're just adding fuel to fire. Just ignores her she sucks, and you'll be the bigger person.
