(!) Oh what a hot night it was in Dodge City. Festus had just jumped in the horse through to cool off. Doc watched this little manuver with a puzzled look,wiped his mouth like he always does, and walked away,shaking his head.
Marshal Matt Dillon was headed for the Longbranch when the Noon stage came tearing into town. He walked up to the door and opened it. Out stepped Sunshine. She gazed into Matt's eyes and thanked him for his kindness. Matt just stared. "Thank you,sir. I appreciate your help," she said as she started gathering her things. Matt started to speak as Kitty yelled out from the swingingdoor of the longbranch: "Come on in,Matt. Have a 'cold one' on me." Sunshine looked at Matt. (3)"You're not with her....are you?" Matt finally found his voice. "Uh, well, she and I are just old friends." Sunshine smiled. Kitty frowned. Matt was in deep yogurt now! "Will I be seeing you tonight at the town dance," asked Matt? (5) Yes,yes and hell,yes," cried Miss Sunshine.
As Matt sat down with Kitty for that cold beer, you could cut the silence with a knife. Matt was staring off into another world. Kitty was so jealous she almost choked on her Rot Gut!!
Well, the time for the dance finally arrived. Matt searched the crowd, looking for his Sunshine. That's right...HIS Sunshine....he was bound and determined to make her his! As he spotted her over by the punchbowl, he almost knocked over Newly and Doc to get to her. "Well, hello little lady." "Hello,Marshal Dillon." "Please call me Matt." She smiled and they were soon deep in conversation .
After a dance or two, Matt escorted her outside for some fresh air. "Sunshine? I.....well, the thing is ,I like you." She looked up at his gorgeous face. Before she could reply, Kitty walked up. "Listen,Matt!! What's going on,here" Matt was so startled he lost his voice. Kitty turned to Sunshine..."And YOU!!! Leave my man alone!!" Sunshine smiled....(2) I love a cowboy with a big........hat." Matt couldn't help himself. He let out a muffled laugh. Kitty swung around to face him. "We're through,Matt!"...and off she stormed.
Matt and Sunshine stood there for a few minutes. Then he looked at her and said: "Young lady. You are under arrest." "Arrest? Why," she inquired? "It's against the law to be this beautiful." They both were smiling as Matt escorted her to the jail,which also housed his cot. When they got inside,Matt closed the door and grabbed her in his arms. He kissed her over and over again. Gasping for air, she cried: (4) I am so happy I was arrested."
Matt carried her to his cot. ( I am getting SO worked up writing this thing!) They tore each other's clothes off and made love most of the evening. Matt told her that tomorrow he was going to take her away from Dodge, to let things settle down with Kitty. After he had finally exhausted himself , Matt fell sound asleep. Sunshine got up and took her diary out of her purse.In it she scribbled: " Tomorrow (6) we are riding away ...on his horse." She put her diary away and got back in bed with the best looking cowboy that God ever made♥

It all started when SHE moved into town six months ago and took over as schoolmistress.No sooner had she got here that she started to sink her claws into my man! You'd have thunk a high classed woman like her could have found her own man but no, she had to have mine! Sitting here in this jail cell I am reminiscing about all the good times Matt and I had before that home wrecker Sunshine came along!
Oh, what a hot night it was, I remember laughing and joking around with Doc and Festus "I love a cowboy.... with a big hat" I had announced as I refilled my punchglass. That's when THEY walked in together. I could not believe my eyes! "Your not with her....are you?" I gasped. He only smiled and said "this is a party now isn't it Miss Kitty, lets all drink up" That's when I REALLY started drinking heavily. Doc and Festus were getting into it again and for a while I got caught up in listening to them bicker. That's when I noticed that Matt and Sunshine were missing. I was feeling no pain as I marched over to Matt's "office" to see if he had gone there. You cannot imagine my shock or the pain I suffered when I found them in flagrante delecto right in the jail cell!! I didnt bat an eye as I picked up Matt's gun(which he wasn't wearing since he was as naked as a jaybird!), pointed, aimed, and shot them both dead! I am so happy I was arrested, now , at least I can spend my last moments in the last place where my darling drew his last breath! Am I glad I did it?, Am I sorry Matt is dead?, and if I had it to do over, would I? The answers are "Yes, yes and Hell yes!!! They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and I think I am about to find out soon enough.The hanging judge is due in town at high noon! As I sit here reminiscing, I think Of my beloved Matt and me. We are riding away..... on his horse into the great unknown, I'll soon find out what awaits me there.....

Oh what a hot night to be out riding in the pastures, looking for cows that separated from the heard. Jamie McKnight was working at the Seven Springs Cattle Ranch for the summer. It was here, that she met Shane Logan, the owners’ son. Shane had just graduated from college, with a degree in Agriculture, and has come back to his roots to help on the family farm. Jamie on the other hand, was a total city girl, who has never had the urge to seek a higher education. She loved being outdoors and having animals around, so when she heard that the Seven Springs Ranch was looking for summer help, she applied. Mr. Logan Senior has asked her why she wanted the job. Her response was “I love a cowboy…With a big hat.” He had laughed so hard that tears came out of his eyes, and he hired her on the spot. The work was hard, the hours long and the pay was terrible, but she was finding that she really liked it a lot.
The day that Shane came home is forever etched in Jamie’s mind. She was in the barn feeding two of the orphaned calves when someone standing in the doorway sent a shadow across the pin. Unfortunately that same shadow, scared the two calves, and they proceeded to knock Jamie to the ground. The shadow entered the pin and asked her if she was okay. Jamie confirmed that she was not hurt and he helped her up. It was here that Jamie had her first good look at Shane. He was about 6 feet tall, hazel eyes with little specks of green in them, and a smile that was friendly.
Ever since that first encounter, Shane has been finding more and more reasons to be around Jamie. When the fence on the South pasture was knocked down, Shane volunteered to go with Jamie to round up any stray cattle. “So what brings you back to the ranch” Jamie asked Shane as they road their horses across the field. “Oh you know, a broken romance, family that wanted me to come back into the fold, the usual stuff” he said. “I’m sorry to hear that you and your girlfriend broke up.” “You’re not with her…are you?” she asked shyly. “No, we broke up for good after I got arrested.” “I was at a demonstration against whaling and someone hit one of the police officers, they in turn arrested everyone that was standing there.” “All charges were dismissed once they figured out who hit the officer and we were released.” “I am so happy I was arrested because when I called Molly, my girlfriend, she refused to come and get me.” “This made me see that she didn’t really love me, so we broke up.” “Now I’m home for good with people that I love, and you have come into the picture.” “I didn’t come home looking for someone, but I can’t stop thinking about you.” Shane said. “I would like to get to know you better, do you think you would like to go to the dance out at the Arena with me Saturday night?” Yes, yes, and hell yes Jamie thought, but was only able to meekly answer “Yes.” No one knows what the future will bring, maybe we are riding away…on his horse, who knows, but at least one date is a start she daydreamed.

I'll never forget.... oh what a hot night that was. I ran into Paris Hilton.... with my car.... and when the paramedics arrived, Porter, a muscle bound cowboy type gave me the eye as the cops were questioning me. ( I love a cowboy...with a big hat ).
As Porter hoisted a bloody Paris onto the stretcher, he asked You're not with her, are you? I said no.... as the cops led me away in handcuffs. Porter said "Don't worry, i'll bail you out".
