Cash is always better. Using credit cards is one of the fastest ways to collect debt. It offers you a false sense of security that credit card companies use against. Cash is simple......pay cash the transaction is over, with credit cards yo have to worry about a bill later plus interest.

Credit cards cause debit, but if you don't buy what you couldn't ordinaryly buy with cash you will be okay. Because with credit you can record where your money is going, with cash it's gone and you have no idea where it went. So maybe Checks would be better.

Cash because you might not have the money right away to pay off the credit card bill. Or use the prepaid visa or master card ones.

I prefer to use a credit card for most, if not all of my transactions. Less cash to carry, better accounting, and the added perks of points earned make credit card use very attractive to me.
Remember to always pay all your balances when the statement is due otherwise a credit card becomes more expensive to use.

i prefer to have cash to pay for things, but sometimes i do not have the cash, so i fall back on card.( These are generally everyday things--gas, groceries, a bill.)
my daughter is in the second grade...they are studying economics--types of, ways to pay for things, etc...and one of her classmates said "Credit cards are the worse way to pay."--smart 8 year old huh?

I would prefer cash (I do not have a credit card yet though). There are less strings attached and it is accepted everywhere.
