I saw on the news today that a minster or some religous figure now thinks that being gay/lesbian can be genetically changed why still in the womb. He seems to think that god would be ok with us tampering with his work. Also why the problem with gay/lesbian people getting married or adopting children. I say if they want to have the headaches with divorces and alimony and child support more power to them. They ought to have the same rights to be miserable that we do. I have no problem with a gay or lesbian adopting a child. I have witnessed better parenting qualities from gay/lesbain couples than out of straight couples.

Because people seem to need a scapegoat for their own problems. Trapped in a miserable marriage? Blame the gays, and their quest to get married!
What really cracks me up is the whole "Allowing gay marriage would ruin the sanctity of marriage" argument. Are heteros really THAT insecure about their own marriages??? That they think their marriage will fall to pieces if the gay couple down the street are granted the same rights as they are? Puh-lease!!! If heteros were REALLY concerned about the "sanctity of marriage" they would outlaw DIVORCES!!! That would really make them THINK before walking down the aisle w/ the stripper they met last week!
And the genetically altering of future gay people makes me sick. We do make the world more colorful, after all!

It just shows how obsessed these people are with exterminating gays that they are willing to experiment on fetuses. What happened to all that talk from the so-called Christian right about the rights of the unborn? Does that no extend to being born gay? These people are sad and dangerous. They should be watched carefully!

i honastly wish that would change (even thou im stright) b/c gays adopting would deff. raise their children better then any other parents: the kids would know that its okay to be different and there is nothing wrong with that. i agree with you. everyone has there head so far up their butt they dont even see that gay/lesbain couples love each toher jsut as much and could raise a child better then anyone else teaching them more important things you cant learn from stright couples.

Simply put those religious folks simply don't have enough faith in what they preach. They don't actually believe or they would be satisfied to let their "god" sort things out as he wants, they are simply attempting to force everyone to believe as they believe and follow their rules.
