we all still hang out .. but she doesn't really talk to him as much anymore , however whenever I talk to him about something she believes that I like him, when I don't. I just feel more comfortable talking to him about certain things..any input?

Let your girlfriend know that he is just a friend. You understand that they had a relationship but he is just a friend your best guy friend at that. Let her know that there are somethings you feel comfortable mentioning to him not because you like him because he is just your friend.

Ex-girlfriends are always very jealous over their ex-boyfriends.
trying to solve it will only make you look guilty.

Be cool and whenever she suggests anything about you two being together laugh at how stupid and ridiculous she's being (or pretend you're trying not to laugh)

What I'd personally do is use inverse psychology while showing my friend that her suspicion is annoyingly ridiculous and will not be tolerated. I.e. Whenever she mentioned it, I'd be like, "OMG, you're friggin obsessed!! You know what, I don't even wanna be friends anymore if all we're ever going to talk about is him!! THIS is exactly why I like him as a friend, because he doesn't obsess over things like you do. Grow up!"

But you have to be a great actress to pull it off, because if you show some weakness, it'll only make her more suspicious.

If you're NOT an actress, just tell her in a very solemn tone, "You are obsessed and I think it's really sad because it's killing our friendship."

Were you and her ex best friends before they started going out?
If this friendship with him has occured here recently and she doesn't approve..... then it's probably best you back off.
If this is a friendship you had before they got together, she has no right to expect you to lose a friend because she lost a boyfriend.

No, not weird. You are subliminally attracted to him. Perhaps the pheromones are just right (body chemistry) and if truth be told... you are probably at least a little horny for him. Explain to your friend that you think you might have some feelings for this guy. She will understand if she is truly your friend. If she gets mad, dump her and go with the boy! Just let your heart and your hot little body be your guide!

:-)

You may not think it is weird, but your friend may have a problem with this. What if your friend was friends with your ex boyfriend? How would you handle that?

coincidence does happen. it does have to be any direct doing of yours for either party 2 b offended. what u have to do though is b careful of ur gestures or choice of words since, especially the girl is very sensitive.
