Jees lady, a bit overdue aren't you. Your water could break at any minute. Light exercise is normally good for you, but you should wait until after the baby, which could be any minute now.

Shoveling snow is dangerous for anybody. A lot of people have heart attacks shoveling snow, not because it is necessarily strenuous, but people are not used to this activity and tend to overdo it.

40 weeks is awfully close to overdue. I suggest you not shovel snow unless you think it will safely induce labour. I doubt it so kick the father out of the easy chair and make him shovel. If he hustles his butt, he can get it done during half time.

Well, I'd ask the doc if you could, but being the weekend...
Isn't there anyone you could ask to do this for you? Parents, friends, siblings, any relative? The last thing you need is a bad back when you are in labor.
I know women have been doing what they have to do for centuries, but it's really not a good idea to risk such heavy manual work at this point.

shoveling snow right now is a horrible idea, you dont want you're baby to be choked on its own umbelical chord.

you're waiting to bypass supply the infant. you likely have misplaced your plug and are dilated a minimum of a few centimeters with the help of now. i might bypass forward and bypass to the well-being facility to be appeared at. it rather is a lengthy labor from now, yet you're surely on your way.

Not a good idea. Are there any strong, non-pregnant people who could help you?

I don't think so but for best results ask the question in biology.

Please don't do it! Not only could you hurt yourself, you could hurt your baby. If you don't have a man around to do it for you, ask a neighbor kid or neighbor hubby to help you. It is too much weight and strain.
