Finding my grandfathers lawer?

My grandfather has forgotten his lawers name.
he recenlty went into the hospital for a stroke and the man named as care taker of our grandfather is our ex stepfather and is away and cannot help with our grandfathers medical desicions.
My brother and I would like to find who his lawer is but the man named in our grandfathers wil will not tell us who the lawer is .
We would like to get power so we can make desisions for our grandfather. How do we find who his lawer is?

Your best bet would probably be to look in the phone book and start phoning lawyer's in the city where your grandfather lived. Give your grandfather's name and ask them if they might be the attorney's for him.

Be warned, however, that the lawyer might not be able to tell you much, but you can at least make the attorney aware of what's going on with your grandfather, and they attorney will do what he is able to do.
