It happens with web page registrations, applications for social security & ANYTHING else. Extremely frustrating & limiting. I always check my typing, spaces, etc. & it is always correct. No typos.

It may be because you have an odd email address.

For obvious reasons, I don't want to give my actual email address (I get enough spam already thanks!) but let's say it is like mr.firstname.lastname@isp.com

Very occasionally, this has been rejected, probably because has two 'dots' before the '@'

If you think your email address is non-standard, I can only suggest that you set up another account in the standard format which is only one 'dot' before the '@' symbol.

Google has just introduced a new email service which you may like to join

You need to make sure your e-mail address looks like this one without the spaces:

somethinghere @ somewebsite . com/org/net

Some websites might not like addresses that only have .co.uk or .es or something less than three letters.

You can always send an e-mail to the webmaster at the website and ask them to set up an account for you.
