I am pregnant as well, and the only glow on me is the acne that is ravaging my face. Some people say that the increased blood flow in your body makes your skin have a glow to it.
Congrats and good luck

To be quite honest... I am not 100% sure myself. I get this alot too. I think you tend to have a natural glow in the face, rosy cheeks, glisten in the eyes, you look different to certain people when you are pregnant. Not sure that I really believe it... but I believe that's what they mean. : )
Hope it helps.

I heard that the hormonal changes during pregnancy helps to clear up acne and other blemishes and leaves your face looking young and healthy.

It means to look happy and healthy. Most women have that special glow due to anticipation. Being happy shows inside and out.

I am happy for you! I wish it would happen to me!
I have heard it described as the inner happiness shining through to the outside. Medically, I have heard it's what the previous person said - increased blood flow.
But, I like the thought of 'shining with happiness' better. :)

Personally, I always thought it was just that sheen of sweat you get all over your body from puking your guts out all morning.

It's a way for insecure pregnant women to feel good about themselves even though they look like hell. The feminists are probably to blame...
