I took a shower and made sure that there was no more on it... i dont have the instructions from a pamphlet anymore just the instructions on the bottle. I left it on a little longer this time (9 min) and it said 10 was the max time to leave it on...

Allergic reaction? I doubt it if only part of you is breaking out. PLUS if you have used it before it would have happened then if you were allergic. I would think that it's more of a chemical burn / irritation problem than anything. There should be a number on the bottle to call you can try that, or get some Pure Aloe to rub on the affected area. Next time don't leave it on so long. If your hair is too coarse to come off with a shorter time frame, wax or shave...

It isn't a classic presentation of an allergic reaction. It appears to be a minor chemical burn due to sensitive skin. This is really uncomfortable. So sorry. After rinsing very well with water, gently pat dry and put a thin layer of Neosporin ointment on the area. This will not only be bactericidal but seal the nerves so that the pain is minimized. In the future, try to test a skin product on a dime sized area to see if you can tolerate it. Get better soon.

Yes, it sounds like you're having an allergic reaction. Nair is the only thing I am allergic to and it was so severe that both my legs blistered by the time I could get it off.
Rinse with water, but try to avoid putting anything on it if you can, even soap. It will irritate it.
The next day, after it has had some time to heal, you can put any soothing creams on it, but avoid any that may sting. If it is a chemical burn, you can treat it just like a regular burn - anything that makes burns feel better will help it.
Also, don't try Veet. I did and it was just as bad.

I had the same reaction to nair many years ago when I tried it out on my bikini line. I just figured it meant my skin is ultra sensitive. What I did to treat the redness and rash was put aloe gel on it like I would a sunburn. It felt good. Then later I applied antibiotic cream to it until it went away.

Yes. But its not something you should go to the Dr. about. I had the same problem with nair. Get some lotion with aleo or just some aloe itself and put it on it and it will help in a day or so.
Its not nessecerrily(sp?) sensitive skin but its the nair itself its strong even for me and i dont have sensitive skin.

Redness is normally a sign of reaction. You may want to consider other forms of hair removal for the bikini area. I hate to say it but you may want to "WAX--OUCH" but it's better than zoning out on benadryl to get rid of the reactions.

Wash it off and apply antibiotic cream or aloe. Sometimes nair will hurt very sensitive skin. It will also hurt if youve recently shaved or waxed or plucked the area.

Since it's isolated to one leg, it's probably just an irritation. Try some Benadryl cream first. It should help the itching. If not then try some aloe.

that stuff my firend is very horrilbe it can really mess you up and its hard to wash off. yep some people just can't use it and yes sounds like infection or whatever. if it stays red day or two go to doc and get something for it and then shave instead.
