I reimaged my computer, how can i put my itunes back?

So my computer had to be reimaged, and I lost my I tunes library but I still have it on my ipod, how could i add more songs to my i pod and put the songs from my ipod onto my computer without losing all my music?

There's a program out there called iTunes transfer, which is designed to take all the songs off of your ipod and put them onto your library. I lost my harddrive recently, but with that program, I only lost 8 songs from my iPod. It was $10 and I bought it at Staples.
