You can take a 'sauna' which is a bath that uses dry heat to induce perspiration, and in which steam is produced by pouring water on heated stones. This was developed by the Finnish people.

You can also can take a 'steam bath' which is the act of bathing through exposure to steam, which induces perspiration. This was developed by the Turkish people.

Both forms were made popular around 1820's
