childhood love?

ok when i was 8 i live next to a guy who was my age. people always said we would end up togther. but we were never freinds. would use to hang out a lot when we were kids, but then i dont know what happen. besides he said hurfull things. this was when i use to live in california. now i live in arizona.i dont think ill ever see him again. what do all of you think? is stupid huh ? :)
