It was originally the morning of Feb. 17th, but because of the increased speed of the ship (they were trying to beat the Olympic's crossing time), it was changed to an estimated arrival of Feb. 16th at 4PM.

Ships of that time did not usually have set dates of arrival. If the ship kept going at a fast enough speed they would have pulled in on Tuesday night (the ship sank Sunday night/monday morning) and if they were going at an average pace they would be expected to arrive on wednesday.
