The U.S. minted half cents from 1793-1857, but not all years were inclusive. There were varying likenesses of Lady Liberty on them. The least expensive ones run around $20. The most valuable being the 1796 No pole variety which varies in cost from $10,000 for a very low grade to $60,000 for a high grade version. Probably never see them minted again, but realistically they are legal tender in the United States.
