How is he selfish? Because he led the NBA in scoring? Last time I checked that makes him the reigning scoring CHAMPION! Would it be better if he averaged 20ppg and 10 assists? Jordan's average was always 30+ with 5 assists? Steve Nash is awesome but if you guys think he could drop 65 on a team and win a game by himself you're smoking crack! Yeah and I'm gonna win the dunk contest next year right?

Not when it's the truth. Ever wonder why the Lakers haven't won anything since Shaq left? Take Tracy McGrady, for example. He used to be just as selfish as Kobe, maybe even more. He's grown up now, and he realizes that it's not about him. It's about the team. That's why he is having the best year of his career, according to himself as well as many other people, even if he isn't scoring 30 ppg anymore.

I am definately tired of Kobe being called selfish. Think about it. Kwame had been out 15 games, Odom has been out for 30 and Luke out 26. Maybe if Kobe had more help he would not have to be "selfish". Don't you think Kobe has to be selfish in order to win a game without 3 other starters!? Kobe is simply doing what he has to do in order to bring his team to the next level. He doesn't be your so called "selfish" who else will step up to make the Lakers win. So for all you haters, Kobe is and will always be the best player in the league, so you might as well accept it now. It will make you life so much better.

Kobe's been even less selfish this year and depends very much on the rest of his team. He raises their level of play with his unselfishness. If you don't believe it, look to the numbers of players like Luke Walton and Smush Parker this year compared to last.

Kobe is not selfish, he just scores and tries to wins games the best of his ability and if his teammates are not doing anything then Kobe Bryant must be Kobe and go out and score 65 points. Kobe Bryant probably has been one the most unselfish players this season as a MVP candidate.

Michael Jordan was the most selfish player in history.

The only time he ever passed the ball was when he was FORCED to ( most of the time he would try to shoot when double-teamed, instead of passing to an open teammate).

Thats why he scored so much. He cared more about his stats than in winning games.

Kobe loves the game and he's a magnificent participant, i do not see some thing undesirable with that. And the actual undeniable actuality that he would not like being compared to MJ is truly no vast deal. From what I watched very last evening, Celtics were the dirtier team and Paul Pierce sucks and is a whiner. bypass LAKERS!!!!!!!!!

I more sick of Just hearing about him, he's a has been, sure he can score 80, but so could a lot of players if they weren't trying to win a championhsip. Kobe get's no publicity except for scoring a lot of points and being the THUG he is. I'm tired of all his "hype" that get's the Lakers nothing, but a last place slot in the playoffs.

Kobe is such a creep, go find a better hero to worship, maybe start with a teacher or soldier. NBA is exhibition basketball and thats why they cannot win any longer in international play. Seriously, the NBA is wacked.

No, I am not. Because he is. I still haven't gotten over him throwing the hissy-fit and forcing the Lakers to get rid of Shaq. It had to be all about him.

So he got his way, and is now the mega-star of his team. But in doing so, he turned a perennial NBA title contender into a .500 team. That's selfish.
