ok..i have a dilemma...

i'm dark haired..

and i need to conceal a "blemish" i have that's just above my upper lip

but whenever i use a powder for covering the concealer that i apply first, the powder "catches onto" the hair and it makes it look like i have a mustache..

so..well..there's two questions..

one..are they any good concealers to use for covering birthmarks?

and two..what's the best way to cover my imperfection above my lip without making it seem "odd"

**i have used dermablend in the past, but it looks really reddish in the sunlight..thus..it just makes that area on my face look weird..

any suggestions??

please and thank you

I would suggest ditching the powder as a first step, use long stay foundation (Revlon color stay) this dries our perfectly,, now the trick..get yourself one of the face tanning liquids (Lancaster or Helena Rubinstein) use a small makeup brush (try body shop brush kit) to mix a tiny amount of the tan effect makeup with a tiny amount of your foundation and blend it in on the area you wish to cover..of course you can apply the tan effect on your face before covering the blemish..

M.A.C. has great concealers, I use select moisture cover for under-eye and Studio Touch Up Stick for everything else like acne scars and blemishes.

look for a liquid concearler. You can go to any convenience store or opt to pay more at a department store. Chanel seems to be my favorite. MAC is good too. At least at the department store you can match your skin tone to a suitable concealer.
